Dorothy Sanchez is a Coily Hair Culturalist,Textured-Styling Trailblazer and Afro-centric Beauty Activist
With forever friend appeal, the soul of an OG beautician, and proud Detroit roots, Dorothy Sanchez came into her own learning about her roots and how to heal, treat, and style Black women’s multi-textured hair.
Ingenuity, education, and moxie led Dorothy to curate hair treatments and styling products that help Black women with multi-textured hair fall in LOVE with their crowns. Her Coily Life products treat, heal, grow, and style natural hair with natural, hydrating, and protective ingredients. Women across the world get to know confidence on a whole other level because of the care she puts into creating what they need to grow the hair of their dreams.
Her first love is connecting with clients on an intimate level as a senior hairstylist. When Dorothy is not behind the chair, she also works to increase representation of professional Black stylists, who work behind the scenes of commercial, print, and media sets, and know how to care for naturals and Afrocentric beauties.
